How Deborah's Girls Started

Deborah's Girls is named after Deborah McNeil. She passed on June 17 2007.  These two sisters came up with a way to keep their mother's name alive through beautiful handcrafted jewelry. Lashonda McNeil is the owner and Creator of Deborah's Girls. Sharon McNeil is the Co-owner/marketing. Lashonda is a mother of four beautiful children. Lashonda always questioned her purpose in life, being a housewife was not all she wanted. She begin to ask God to reveal her purpose. Not knowing her niece Canderia Miller would birth out her purpose. Canderia was born with cerebral palsy. Sharon, Canderia's Aunt became her full time caregiver after their mother passed. Canderia's mother passed 2 weeks after giving birth to Canderia at the age of 17. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  Sharon didn't have the proper vehicle to transport Canderia around. Lashonda  decided to create a campaign to raise money for a handicapped equipped van. To give back to supporters, Lashonda handcrafted cute bracelets made out of rope. Out of those bracelets she thought of a way to keep her mother's name alive. Deborah's Girls was birthed out. The bracelets became elegant, the rope became elastic string. The campaign didn't end successfully. Canderia passed February 3 2016 from a seizure. Everything stopped at that moment.

After the impact of the lost of Canderia, Lashonda  decided to push Deborah's Girls even harder. Sharon decided to let go of her full time job to help Lashonda full time with Deborah's Girls. Canderia now has her own collection which is "The CanCan Collection".
5% of the purchases goes to the cerebral palsy foundation.

Lashonda and Sharon wants to share a scripture with everyone.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11
